Thirty-two images selected from the” Mind’s Eye” series will be installed throughout the public areas of the property. The photographs were made as Giclee Prints, measuring 16 x 24 inches.

Three 54 x 40 inch photographs of “Miami” were recently installed at the Transportation Management Center. The images are located in the atrium area, which was architecturally designed to incorporate the works of art.

ITS Florida presented FDOT District 6 with an award for innovation and outstanding achievement at a celebration and ribbon cutting on June 25th for the new SunGuide TMC in Miami. The TMC serves as the command and control center for the FDOT District 6 regional Intelligent Transportation Systems program. This 32,000 s.f. facility features a state-of-the-art video wall and console workstations for FDOT ITS operations staff on the first floor and FHP dispatchers on the second floor.

For this project a selection of five images from the “Everglades” series was made, and then reproduced four times, in four different colors. This technique of adding color tinting to a B&W photograph is known as sepia toning, and often referred to as a “Monochrome” Print. The final printing process was done as a Lightjet Print on Fugi Paper, and each measured 34 x 34 inches.
